Moonlight

The reflection of a cresent moon
Shining from the lake under a moonless sky
Drops falling in the water
Sending ripples across the surface

Each drop
Sends shockwaves across the moon
Getting more distorted with each blow
As the image desperately tries to stay intact

When the drops finally break the shine
And the moonlight is torn apart
She falls forwards
Destroying the light with a final splash
