Black and White

Black and White

Without black there is no white
Without white there is no black
Without darkness you can’t see stars
And without light you can’t see the beautiful colors all around

So don’t run away from darkness
And don’t only ask for light
Watch for the beauty in both of them
Both have gifts for you

That one day when you are finished and complete
You can stand strong like a mountain when you need to
And also play like the ocean when it’s necessary
