NEAR DEAD

It was like a dream
One that makes you scream
Found you on the ground
Lifeless, not making any sound

With little hope to spare
I prayed to heaven in despair
An angel came down
Dressed in a radiant gown

He gave me wings to fly
And took me to the sky
To pick a star so bright
Chasing the darkness with light

In your heart the star was shot
Making it glow red-hot
The first heartbeat took its time
But now it is spinning fine

You woke up with a magic smile
And opened your eyes after awhile
In the dawn of your eyes I could see
The twinkling star that set you free
