Haiku for coming winter.
fuyú no tóki (wa)
mimà ni nozoñde
yukìdárùma (wo).
When it's winter
I wish for a snowman
for my ear.

雪é”磨 yukidaruma = "Bodhidharma of snow".
[He came from western India to China > Chan/Zen-Buddhism.]

Alternative:
fuyú kúre-bà . . . = When winter comes . . .
_ _ _ _ _
The above haiku is based on Bashô's:
Autumn has come
I call on the wind to be
a pillow to my ear.
Translation: 白ç‹
[Matsuo Bashô #80.]
áki kà ni kèri / mimà wo(?) tazúnetè / mákura nò kazé.
"autumn come-to has /
ear (wo = accusativus > object, but "mimÃ" here functions as
an indirect object, so "wo" should be "ni" !!! = to/for)
calling-on /
that-is (= "no" indicates a clause here) pillow
wind/breeze (which is the actual object !!!)."
>> "autumn to come has / for my ear calling on / the wind that's a pillow."
