Paralyzed
And the words,
right out of your mouth they fell.
You left me
in a space so blank that I couldn't tell
where they would all shatter.
No thoughts made it better.
The gravity of a room filled with heat and hatred,
I got scared of the love I once thought was sacred.
'Cause I have never known
that the heart could strangle the soul.
These faces that you've never shown;
everything grew so uncontrollable.
And the tears in my eyes you awaited,
they came as my confidence degraded.
And your polished nails claw away my pride
'till the coldest lie is the safest place to hide.
Your eyes always mistake the good in mine,
making you an addict to my panic when I'm confined
