Wise Words
I have these little thoughts
In this head on top of me
Thoughts about a little animal
An animal I met, at the edge of the sea
Long ago it was, I met
That wonderfull creature, no wasp or bee
No, a crab it was, the little creature
The creature I met, at the edge of the sea
As I walked and taunted Mrs. Crab over there
It immediately threw an angry face at me
‘Cause no female it was, but completely male
The male crab I met, at the edge of the sea
After this mistake of mine, apologies been made
It was pretty obvious, pretty clear for me to see
That this little crab wanted to know me better
This curious crab I met, at the edge of the sea
When he asked my name and place I called home
I gave him the most honest answer he could get from me
And when I asked him the same, Roald and Sea is what I got
From the crab I met, at the edge of the sea
After a lecture about all he knew of life
To which I couldn’t possibly more agree
I knew no other living thing was like this crab
This special crab I met, at the edge of the sea.
When I told him I had to go, he said
He had one more last secret completely for free
He said love is a thing you must treasure, my friend
Said the wise crab I met, at the edge of the sea
Now while I was sitting here thinking about my love
and inside feeling happiness, of the highest possible degree
It made me think of these couple wise words
Of the crab I met, at the edge of the sea.
