Paper gun love story

Memories of what where and thoughts of what could be
Drown her in her never lasting sleep.
Thoughts she never shares but only hides and keeps.
The thought of you runs threw her mind day and night.
But those same thoughts are the ones that might end her live.

You've always been there.
You've always been her drug.
But as of this point on she's ready to give it all up.

Things have happened , lies where told.
Both misled by one another,
promising to stay together till they've grow old.

Feelings not what they use to be
Start to fade in the black.
The time has come to take her heart back.
Broken as it is, pain it does not deserve
By staying she's slowly loosing the life she deserves.

She draws a gun on her hand
Pretending that it's real.
Aims it at her head, to give her the alive feel.
She'd do this almost each day.
And each day she'd draw a new one.

One day she took a piece of paper and drew a new gun.
She keeps getting one step closer to a real one.
Maybe this is how her live will end..

Not able to break free, so she'll find a new way out instead.
They say it's just a "love story ".
But what if that story is your whole life?
What if that story keeps going from bad to worse?

Filling up her eyes with tears as she's ready to burst.
Not knowing what to do, she just sits and waits.
Thinking of tomorrow,
and wondering if waiting was a mistake.
