Deceitful love

My heart is so pure
yet broken of lies and pain
I thought love could be my cure
but it only drove me insane

All the warmth I gave
has turned to emptiness
I thought caring was save
until I felt the opposite of tenderness

Left with broken parts of me
no sign of passion
forever is not guaranteed
