Colours of the wind
the wind takes it all
the colours of the world
he takes the pink the green the red and yellow
he takes them somewhere
somewhere far, where they don't shine
the wind plays with you
through your hair, through your mind
he read your thoughts
and then take them away
somewhere far, where you won't find
the wind takes it all
the words you tried to say
he chooses them for you
but then take them away
somewhere far, where they won't be able to be spoken out loud
the wind turns pink, green, red and yellow
on a journey to somewhere they won't shine
but the colours turn into thoughts
being caught up by the birds
travelling to somewhere you won't find
but thoughts turn into words
whispered by the trees
in a wood that you don't know
but the one you wanted to show to the colours of the world
the one that shares the same thoughts as you
walked through the woods
hearing the whispers of the trees
the words that won't be spoken out loud
will be heard as soft and non-violent as a breeze
