On a Rainy Morning
The thrill of the trembling breeze
Throttles the tomatoes plants
In their prillest prime asleep.
Takes them in the stranglehold
Of summer's last embrace.
The arrows of the rain take aim
At the voices of the air
That nature sends in
Whizzing swarms to fill
Our heads with saneless whisper.
