The book of self-esteem

One day people decided to write the book of self-esteem
It turned out to be cruel and vicious and I don’t know what it means
‘Cause when my ex turned up, he just called loud at me
You, young girl, you’ve got no self-esteem

He said:
You’re a slut you’re a whore, you’re a loser you’re a faker
You’re a bitch you’re so fat you’re a wreckless heartbreaker
You’re destroying everything
And you can’t seem to do what’s right
You’re not allright

After calling me every name he got down on his knees
He started smoosing things up and said I’m all he needs
Are we allright, are we okay? Can we make it work?
I said just get lost, you are a jerk.

He said:
You’re a slut you’re a whore, you’re a loser you’re a faker
You’re a bitch you’re so fat you’re a wreckless heartbreaker
You’re destroying everything
And you can’t seem to do what’s right
You’re not allright

It costed me a dozen years if not even more
To trust a guy again and show him what’s in store.
I had to tell him about, my book of selfesteem
So I wrote it down just for him to see.

I said:
I’m a slut I’m a whore, I’m a loser I’m a faker
I’m a bitch I’m so fat I’m a wreckless heartbreaker
I’m destroying everything
And I can’t seem to do what’s right
I’m not allright

He closed my book and said he didn’t want to see
A book that told these untruths about me
He just grabt my hand en settled down with me
Let’s rewrite your book of self-esteem.

He said
You’re sweet, you’re pretty, you’re witty , you’re fine,
I love you, I adore you and I’d like to call you mine
You’re making me happy
You just never seem to know what’s right
But that’s allright.

Everything’s allright
